A lucky Michigan Lottery player won $500,000 from the $500 Fever instant game.
If you won $500,000 would you think about retirement? A woman, who chose to remain anonymous, from Genesee County, Michigan is now thinking about retirement. She won $500,000 playing the $500 Fever instant game from the Michigan Lottery. The woman bought the winning ticket from a Marathon gas station in Mount Morris, Michigan.
The woman told Lottery officials she first scratched the barcode and scanned it. The scanner gave her a ‘cannot process’ ticket message. Then, she scratched the entire play area and was shocked when it showed she won $500,000. Later, she contacted the Michigan Lottery just to verify she actually won. The woman recently visited the Michigan Lottery headquarters in Lansing, Michigan to claim the money.
